We are pleased to inform everyone that we now have a new version of our web conference and virtual classroom platform available for teachers and students. This version of the BigBlueButton (BBB) program works on smartphones and tablets. It uses HTML5 code to extend the platform's capabilities. It's more user friendly than the Adobe Flash version and super fast. It also permits students to view YouTube videos from the virtual classroom, in addition to all of the other tools that the Flash version has. All in all, it should improve the user experience for synchronous learning and we are please that AMIDEAST Online has this resource for its students
