iBT Speaking Overview
The tasks in this section provide an opportunity for students to practice for the speaking component of the iBT test. There are four types of speaking tasks based on the iBT format. These are 1) Independent task: Choice; Integrated tasks: 2) Campus situation, 3) Academic lecture and Integrated Summary listen/speak; 4) Academic course. For practice, there are four tasks for each of these speaking types so there are a total of 16 tasks that you can choose from. You will record responses and receive feedback from a teacher.
