English Access Microscholarship Program
The Access Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State, offers two years of English language instruction and additional workshops that introduce the youth to American culture, community service, and career enhancement resources.
The program’s curriculum strengthens English speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills, and extracurricular activities provide additional opportunities to improve English language proficiency as well as help build leadership skills and promote personal development. Activities include guest speakers, field trips for cultural activities (such as films, exhibitions, and concerts), and visits to a variety of organizations.

Program Description and Components
The two-year curriculum will consist of 360 instructional hours as follows.
- English language instruction
- Public speaking training
- Cultural enrichment and development of leadership skills
- Community service activities
Student Assessment and Weights
Passing Grade: 70%
The program consists of 8 modules, 6 for the 240 hours of English language training and 2 for the Enrichment activities. Below is a description for the assessment of English language modules:

Attendance Policy
