    Course Description

AMIDEAST proposes an English STEAM program for kids, ages 5-12! Our STEAM curricula is based on the understanding that true language learning happens organically. It is a 72-hour Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) program in which students learn English through the exploration of science, theater, art, engineering, and math. Students will explore contemporary topics within an interactive environment that provides many opportunities to practice real-world communication.

In this class, students will increase their understanding and use of common structures in English through hands-on activities and projects that increase their ability to communicate naturally. Students will develop vocabulary and grammatical understanding to talk about common topics, such as nature, the human body, health and fitness, society, space, and much more! Students will also create theme-based projects each week that develop their skills in math, engineering, art, and theater, while fostering creativity, imagination, and presentation skills in English.
