English Language Conversation Course Level 4
Description of the course:
The conversation course aims at improving students’ spoken English language skills and developing their abilities to use spoken language effectively by training both listening and speaking skills. Our engaging lessons reflect a variety of situations in which learners would have to listen and speak in an English-language environment by exposing them to different topics regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. students will be engaged in different activities and discussions to improve their fluency as well as their language accuracy. Classes include a balance of active vocabulary and grammar development, pronunciation, intonation, turn-taking, conversational gambits and many others to maximize the amount of student speaking time and building of confidence through practice.
AMIDEAST Policies:
- Students are expected to come to class on time.
- Passing grade is 70%
- Students are entitled to two absences during the same course
- Course evaluations are done at the end of the course
- Students are encouraged to cooperate with each other and show respect and courtesy towards the teacher and other participants.
- Always be respectful of others’ opinions even when they differ from your own. When you disagree with someone, you should express your differing opinion in a respectful, non-critical way.
