Course Description
This course is designed for doctors and medical students who have to use English to communicate with patients and medical colleagues. It aims to develop speaking and listening skills as well as reading and listening skills. The course provides you practice activities in a medical context. It also further language items on the same general themes and includes all language skills.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, the student will be able to use language related to the field of medicine starting with basic questions and moving towards the intermediate level of language, write letters and referral, read and locate specific information in a case history, and transfer information from a text to a table or medical document.
